MEMBER OF THE AMSTERDAM - BEIJING ASSOCIATION

The Amsterdam – Beijing Association (AMPEK) initially started as an agreement between Amsterdam and Beijing for the cooperation in the field of trade, industry, culture and science in 1987. It has grown into a powerful organisation for the promotion of the commercial-economic relationships between The Netherlands and the People’s Republic of China with around a hundred members, varying from small and medium to large enterprises.

SUBSCRIBED TO THE AGENCY FOR INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS AND COOPERATION (EVD)

The Agency for International Business and Cooperation (EVD) is part of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs. Its mission is to promote and encourage international business and international cooperation. As a State agency and a partner to businesses and public-sector organisations, the EVD aims to help them achieve success in their international operations. A growing network of organisations, government institutions and companies have come to rely on the EVD for information about foreign markets, governments and trade and industry. With its wide-ranging knowledge, the EVD is able to develop products and services that meet the needs of its customers and clients. It obtains its information from its network of Dutch and international organisations, which include international financing organisations, the European Commission, embassies, Chambers of Commerce, local business support offices, trade representative associations and, needless to say, trade and industry.

MEMBER OF THE NETHERLANDS HONG KONG SOCIETY

The Netherlands Hong Kong Society (NHKS) was established in 1978. It is the oldest of a network of similar Societies and Associations, all over the world.The NHKS is a founding member of the Federation of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide. The Federation, a unique network of 28 Hong Kong business associations comprising more then 9,000 individual associates, promotes trade and business links with and through Hong Kong in 22 countries around the world. The Federation links and strengthens its member associations, and provides an effective base from which multilateral business relationships and connections with Hong Kong - the most dynamic platform for doing business with mainland China and the Asia-Pacific region - can be promoted and expanded globally. The Netherlands Hong Kong Society is supported by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, Brussels.

MEMBER OF THE NETHERLANDS COUNCIL FOR TRADE PROMOTION (NCH)

The Netherlands Council forTrade Promotion (NCH) is one of the leading Dutch trade promotion organisations. The NCH was founded in 1946 by private industry people and operates since then as an independent private foundation (so it is not a government agency).
Companies can become a member of NCH by entering one or more of the country business councils which work together with NCH in a federation. Ultimo 2002 NCH had in total approximately 800 corporate members, divided over about 60 business councils.
