Application Requirements
1. Civil aviation sales agency is divided into two categories:
A. Civil aviation sales agency for international flight courses or flight courses to Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan
B, Civil aviation sales agency for domestic flight courses(excluding Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan)
2. To operate international air cargo sales agency business, one must apply to the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation for setting up joint venture and cooperative international cargo agency corporation at first, and then apply to the Civil Aviation Administration of China(CAAC) for international air cargo sales agency business after the first application has been granted
3. To set up international passenger transport sales agency corporation, the minimum registered capital required is 1,500,000 RMB, The project will be examined, approved, and initiated by CAAC, then feasibility report, contracts and articles will be examined and approved according to their limits of authority. For sales agency corporation operating both international air cargo and international passenger transport business, its application should be examined and approved by Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (MOFTEC) according to the examination and approval procedure for international cargo agency, MOFTEC will consult with CAAC during the process
4. To set up domestic air cargo and passenger transport sales agency corporation, the minimum registered capital required is 500,000 RMB, applications will be examined and approved according to the limits of examination and approval authority after being granted by local administration department of CAAC
